Job description :

As a senior structural engineer you are responsible for the analysis and design of buildings structures located in India. As a senior you are expected to raise the level of technical competence of the structural engineering team.

Duties in this position include:

- Leading a team of junior engineers to carry out structural analysis and design of buildings in reinforced concrete, steel and precast concrete as per Indian design codes.

- Modeling and analysis of building structures using the latest design software.

- Coordinate and collaborate with clients in terms of design and engineering.

- Assist in training and development of junior members of the design team.

Desired candidate profile :

- B-tech or M-tech in civil / structural engineering.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of structural engineering.

- Proven experience in design of building structures according to IS codes.

- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design.

- Experience in seismic design of building structures.

- Experience with structural design software such as Staad Pro and Etabs.

- A sound understanding of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet calculations.

- Exposure working on international building projects is preferred.

- Excellent use of English language for written and verbal communications.

- Pro active, ambitious and career driven.

- Able to lead a team of structural engineers and draughtsman.

- Knowledge and experience in precast and prestressed concrete design is preferred.
